In this training series, the instructor Chandan Kumar teaches you Eyeon Fusion from very basics and then takes you through all the essential aspects of compositing in Fusion. This DVD is essentially designed for those who come from After Effects background and then want to migrate to Fusion. Lots of users find it difficult in the beginning as the working environment is quite different in both software. After Effects is a layer based compositing software where Fusion is a node based compositing software. So, considering this situation, Chandan Kumar has made his very own way to teach Fusion to such students who find Fusion a bit difficult.

This is a full workshop, recorded in realtime, with no edits (besides clean up for interruptions and breaks). Be warned, it is a LONG workshop. But when it comes to hard surface, it is a long process which is why I don’t do too much of it due to time constraints. In this course, instructor Stephen G. Wells walks us through the creation of his Vampire Stake Launcher. His workflow covers various tools within the editable poly modifier such as edge extrusion, beveling, and slice planes, as well as the use of individual modifiers such as free form deformation lattices and symmetry to make the process easier. In addition, he will also cover the importance of smoothing groups while modeling, as well as make use of the kitbashing technique while reusing some elements that he has already created.
